Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) is proud to announce the launch of the International Student Mobility Credit Transfer Program in collaboration with Universitas Malaysia Sabah (UMS). This initiative offers UMS students the opportunity to participate in international academic exchange and gain credits for courses taken abroad, further enhancing their global learning experience.

The program aims to provide UMS students with a unique opportunity to experience a new academic and cultural environment while earning credits that will count towards their degrees. This initiative strengthens the ties between UMSurakarta and UMSabah, as well as promotes the university’s commitment to producing globally competitive graduates.

Starting from this year, selected students from UMS will have the chance to spend a semester or more at Universitas Malaysia Sabah, where they will have access to a wide range of courses, research opportunities, and cultural immersion activities. With a seamless credit transfer system, students can incorporate their international experience into their academic progress without disrupting their study timeline.

Through this program, students will not only enhance their academic knowledge but also improve their intercultural communication skills, broaden their perspectives, and develop a deeper understanding of global issues. The collaboration with Universitas Malaysia Sabah marks an exciting chapter in UMS’s internationalization efforts, opening doors for future academic partnerships and cross-border academic experiences.
